Our Trip to Vegas with the honey consisted of..
  • Driving..... A LOT of driving
  • Gas stations
  • Glamour
  • Laughter
  • Love
  • Amazing hotels
  • Gambling ( I PLAYED BLACKJACK AND CAME UP 50.00!)
  • Drinks
  • Casinos
  • The finest of night clubs/lounges
  • Shopping
  • Great Food (Noodles/ Chinese at the Bellagio was my favorite)
  • Lounging at the pool
  • Fruity yummy pool drinks
  • Great music
  • Great Hotel rooms
  • and Did I say love?

The pictures will tell the whole story......

We Left at four AM... the only Car on the road
Kris fed me while I drove.....

and he took pictures of what I called "Africa"..

I got a kick out of this.... ewe. Raw milk.

This might be hard to see, but its a sign for "MAD GREEK" restaurant... I cant tell you how serious my Dad was about us stopping here...

So we did.....

And had much relief finding out it was a drive through!

as always my Dad was right, we had the best chicken gyros!

and drinks..

Better then all of it... he loved it too =)
We took turns driving......
While he drove.. I did this.....

THEN AFTER EIGHT HOURS WE ARRIVED!

Welcome to Fabulous LaS VegaS

The Luxar

New York New York

The Bellagio

Kris's favorite hotels, The Encore and Wynn...

Venetian

The Monte Carlo, Our hotel for the first two nights.....

We had a suite... my favorite part? The HUGE bathtub/Jacuzzi.

Bartender Kris...

...

Our view of the Monte Carlo pool, where we spent a lot of time during the days...

At the pool, drinking a blue Hawaiian. Expensive... but delicious......
At the Wynn.....

Getting ready for our first night out.....

So many compliments on my necklace..... * Thank you Khols *

The Jacuzzi Fountain....Oh if only I could take a Jacuzzi bath everytime I came home from a night out.... complete bliss...
My handsome honey...
*Laughs*

Second night out... In my Favorite dress from Bebe!

This is how he gets ready....... loves it

The third day, Kris surprised me by telling me to pack all my stuff, and that we were upgrading to another hotel... little did I know that he had booked a suite at the Bellagio, with the most breathtaking view! This is a picture of the ceiling in the lobby...

Our bathroom.... the maids would come in and clean everything up every time we left the room.. it was crazy. Kris laughed when I told him that our lives would be so much neater if we had this service 24/7 back at home...

Our heavenly soft bed....

Armoire...

and our BREATHTAKING view... during the day...

and at night.... we would turn our TV on to channel 22 and the music would play along with the fountain... it was out of this world. We spent a lot of time, dropping what we were doing at the moment to watch....Our last morning in Vegas.... Kris got fully dressed and decided he "had to" wear the robe one last time... this is why I love him.

The beautiful view on the drive home..... (our car was covered in Ash right before we ended highway 15, we could see the fire in LA from where we were...you know you've been on vacation when you have not even a slight clue to what is going on in the outside world, Kris and I were shocked)

A moment I coudnt resist taking a picture of... sun set, beautiful vintage train, and a red sky.
When were at home, Kris is everyone elses Kris, hes Kris that I have to share, share with his familys, his friends, his employees... but when we were on vacation, he is no one elses but mine. We were together for six days straight, and when it was time for him to leave me Monday afternoon, I broke down... And I wasnt alone, 45 minutes after he left, I get a text with how much he misses me. WHAT IN THE WORLD was I going to do with myself for the rest of day? .. all by myself, with no Kris to make me laugh or keep me company. It definitely took a lot of "Ok Veronica, back to reality" moments. And yes I got through it... but it wasnt easy. The downside of vacations. All im left with is the excitement for whenever our next trip is... and our tiny moments together until then.
Overall, our trip was nothing less then a success.
