New life.....

For a while now, I have been inspired by blogger friends who renovate old furniture, and I have finally had a weekend where I was able to actually perform my own renovation.

This has actually been a dream of Kim and I..... to bring new life to old furniture and make something of it... but its all about really bringing life to a thought...really taking time out to give to birth to it...
and today I did........

Today I woke up and went to Home Depot and after that I really kicked ass.....

I won't lie, it really was a bitch painting and adding hard ware to this. But I did learn a life lesson while getting a great tan during this outrageous process. I will NEVER EVER..... EVER let my future children put stickers on anything but paper..... because I literally wanted to SLAP my child self.  WHAT THE HELL STICKER MAKERS AND WHAT THE HELL MOM...why did you let me decorate this beautiful piece of wood in FUGLY stickers.
Did this process of removing stickers REALLY have to take an hour and half!?!?!?

KJHDFOIRTUUIHRGkjhdfghjIUYY!@!!!!!!
But after a four hour process of painting and adding new hardware
.... I think I ended up with a some-what great piece of work.
Something that someone has already bid on actually! Go me!

......... But I have to admit, its hard to part with something that you have spent so much time remolding...

  5. In order to feel renewed, you must make an effort to change something. Anything that soothes you and doesn't harm other is termed as positive change. It must be appreciated.
