Dear John

I have to admit, I have heard horrible reviews about the movie Dear John - From the best-selling author of The Notebook starring Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried

My cousin Kate spent the night last night and we decided what the hell, we'll rent it and judge it ourselves.

Well, we watched it and the verdict is in.   I adored the movie.  I thought it was well thought out, romantic, dramatic and not predictable.
That's a pet peeve about movies for me, when I can tell exactly how things will pan out.

It didn't hurt that Channing Tatum was seriously attractive and adorable through out the movie.

Their true love reminded me a lot of Kris and I and it seriously made me feel grateful that he his not in the service.  I just can not imagine living every day fearing for his life with minimal contact.

Although, I was pissed off at Amanda's Character for the choices she made, when your completely hopelessly in love, you would wait forever.
But it all came together at the end to make a lot of sense.

I will totally vouch for this movie.  Just goes to show, reviews are personal judgments.
