KINDLE OR NOOK?

Seriously one of the hardest decisions I have come across in a while.

Amazon Kindle or Barnes & Noble Nook.

Actually, I already purchased a Kindle and it should arrive on Thursday
. But everyone that I have been talking to has recommended the Nook. Ahhhhh which one to choose?
Please... let me know what you have, why you love it, which one you would get if you already don't, and why.

OR

Ready...... GO!

  2. You definitely made the right decision with the Kindle! I don't like the back light of the Nook and I think that books on Amazon tend to be cheaper than B&N. Also, book stores aren't doing so hot these days (Borders is going out of business next year!) so I think I'd trust Amazon a little more! The Nook is also a little bit pricier! So good choice! You'll love it!

  3. The Nook! I got one for Christmas, and I love it! I love it because for lots of reasons. Like the Lend Me technology, that allows you to lend out books to other Nooks. You can also read books for free at Barnes and Noble. I also really love the touch screen! Hope this helps!

  4. I definitely stick with the kindle, the nook is glare free which means you can read it in moreplaces than the nook.. like laying on the beach or at the pool!

  5. I have the nook! It's glare free. And amazing. (I have the non color one)
And it will read MORE formats than the kindle will. Like PDFs, etc.

I LOVE my nook and would definitely suggest the nook

  6. My hubs has a Kindle and he likes it, but he has played with the Nook and said it's pretty cool. A lot of people that I know that have the Nook LOVE it.

  7. Beats me (: I still super prefer reading printed books--mostly because I mark all over them and save pages... take notes... guess I don't really read novels. If I did though, I'd be asking the same question as you. For me though, I study and try to memorize the stuff I read (not for school or anything, just cuz).... unless these things let you do that?!?! Do they? Oh man, this may be a new door opening (:

  9. I got the Nook Color for Christmas. It's a little more expensive because it's in color. Which also means the battery doesn't last as long as the Kindle. But unless you read magazines or children's books, the color is kind of unnecessary. Also, the one MAJOR point about teh Kindle is that it has 3G, which means you can get internet just about anywhere. The Nook (and NookColor) only have internet capabilities in WiFi Hotspots.

Hopefully they will upgrade soon. Hope this helps!
