Jewelry that feeds the soul

Does this necklace not scream femininity?
I love the balanced chaos of three different pieces coming together to make one necklace.

Almost five years ago, Kris gave me a promise ring for Christmas.  I have worn it every.single.day. since then. Over time it became more of a security blanket then a ring.  Kris and I are unable to spend a lot of time together due to our schedules, and when I missed him I always had the ring to remind me of him.
I handed Kris my ring last week to show him that it needed to be cleaned.  He put it in his pocket and to make a long story short it is now lost. My heart literally is broken. Sounds cheesy, but that ring meant more to me then any piece of jewelry I have ever owned.  So today I bought this little beauty to wear on the same finger. Its beautiful and I love it, the only thing missing is the meaning.
R.I.P Where ever you are.

  1. Oh man, I don't know what to say, other than that really sucks. Sorry to hear. Dylan got me a ring too a few years ago and I would be a wreck of it I lost it. At the same time, I got a ring for him too, and we've both been wearing them for 3 years. I hope that some way, you get it back..

  2. I'm sorry to hear about your ring! That is terrible! I hope it turns up, sometimes things just show up when you're not looking for them. I lost my engagement ring once, right when we barely got engaged, and I nearly had a heart attack. Thankfully, I found it under a table at the restaurant I was having lunch at, it somehow fell off my finger because it was too loose. So I am hoping Kris simply misplaced it and he finds it soon!

  3. Oh no! Jonathan gave me a promise ring way back when we first started dating and I wore that thing every day up until we got engaged. It was so simple but I loved it so much! I hope you find it somewhere!

  4. Hopefully it will turn up. A friend of mine lost hers in the bottom of a river when we went canoeing a few years ago. She remembered to take off her engagement/wedding rings but kept the promise ring on and it got lost. She was devastated.

  5. I hope your ring turns up, I can't even imagine! I have a promise ring too that means the world to me, I would die if anything happened to it. I'm sorry!

  6. Oh no, that's no fun. I lost a diamond from my wedding ring and haven't been able to find it :( My finger feels so naked without my ring.

  8. Oh dear dear. I am so sorry. That ring must have meant so much. I lost one such ring. It was my dad's and I had been wearing ever since he got a new one. It was special because it was so so simple and it was curved- something it gained when my dad met with an accident. We went out as a family for a dinner once and when I came out, that ring was gone. Right there in front of everyone. I don't know how that happened.
